Inspired Again

Every trip we go on I get inspiration, and this one was no different. We spent 5 fabulous days in Puerto Morelos, the town that inspired Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Here is just a little of my inspiration. For more in depth info on my vacation check out my other blog at http://thesugartarian.blogspot.com/. WARNING this is a long blog. (visually)

We stayed at a wonderful hotel, Ceiba Del Mar. Blue skies, turquoise water and green foliage were abundant.

The beach was beautiful and went forever. Ok, not forever, but it did go all the way to the town of Puerto Morelos, which was a 20 min. walk.

I don't know if it's the heat or the humidity, but for some reason anytime I go to Mexico I have to buy stuff. Things I never would have wanted and have no where to put. The layers of textures and colors make it all so irresistible.

How can you not get inspired by the Mayan ruins, they are so amazing. I don't think there is a prettier (or more touristy) Mayan site than Tulum, which sits along the turquoise shores of Caribbean Sea.

The beauty couldn't only be seen on land, underwater held its own.

We had a wonderful time and I cant wait to put some of the sights into beads.

Not Quite Yet!

I am only back to tell you, I will be back. I have been so busy lately with vacations, (I know not a bad thing to be busy with.) that I haven't had time to sit down at the torch. After this, I am free until thanksgiving so I will back with new beads soon.
