Too many projects

The 1st step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.Well, I admit it. I start too many projects. When an idea comes to me I do it, or I start it. Then another comes and another and next thing I know I have a million good ideas started and none are finished. I haven't found the science behind the new glass to reproduce beads that I have made. I am having problems photographing my beads. Then, this weekend I got an idea to make a display for my beads. So far it consists of lots of small boards in a pile in my craft room.
So here is my game plan.
1) Have the display finished before Monday
2) Keep practicing photographing my beads
3) Make beads this weekend

Homework

I have been doing homework for my photography class and a little homework for my lamp work. I'm not sure about this photography stuff still, there is so much to remember. I still don't know about all the numbers 1/200, 5.6, 800, etc. I am a perfectionist as I think I have stated before, and when I don't get things perfect the first time I freak out. So I am taking a breath and continuing to try.
As for the beads. I am trying the new glass, and surprise surprise it's not turning out the first time. I was expecting a rainbow of color to appear on each bead, well the ones I encased turned out okay. So I am continuing my homework with the glass. I am experimenting again tonight and hoping for better results

Moving in the right direction

I haven't been blogging, I haven't been making beads, but I am moving in the right direction. I was very inspired on vacation and will be making beads, trying to get the feeling of the Cook Islands. I also ordered some new glass this week, that fits perfect with the colors of the Cook's.

Now I need to be able to take good photos of my beads. Well, for my birthday my husband got me photography lessons, and today is my first class. So by the end of next week everything should come together. I will have gorgeous tropical island beads, and I can get pictures that are in focus and can capture the beauty of the them.

For now, here is a peek at the beads that are to come.
